Disc Dog Event Registration instructions

You can now register online for upcoming events.

You will be using version 1.1 of DDRSS - the Disc Dog Registration and Scoring System, developed by Jerry Robin.

This new system will enable you to enter your handler and dog info just once, and have it saved for future events with any organization that is using DDRSS for their event registration.

NOTE: The registration system requires one of the following web browsers for proper functioning:
Windows: Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 or 8 or Firefox 3.5
Mac: Safari 4.x or Firefox 3.5

Here's how to get started:

This will take you to the FileMaker Instant Web Publishing homepage.

1. On the login page, enter Account Name: flying disc
2. Enter the Password: register
3. At the next page, click DiscDogRegistration then click Continue on the Welcome page
(after you read all the warnings, of course!).

Online pre-registration will remain open until noon Friday (the day before the event).
You will receive a confirmation email within a few hours of registration. If you do not, please email me at the address below.

From this point, the process is pretty straightforward, but I will list step-by-step instructions here so you can refer to them during the registration process. The instructions may look complicated, but it's actually very easy when you're on the website.

Note: the Tab key will progress you from field to field.

CAUTION: Do not use your browser's Back button while navigating through the DDRSS system. Using the Back button may cause unpredictable behavior.

4. Enter First and Last name of entrant.
5. Enter Address, City, State, Zip, Home and Cell, Email (necessary for confirmation) and Club if applicable.
6. Enter each dog's information (Weight and Height only required for MicroDogs), and click "Add Dog."
This will list information below for each dog entered. When all dogs are entered, click "Continue to Events."
Note: if you made an error, or would like to change a dog already entered, click their entry in the blue area to change.

You will be assigned a Disc Dog International Standard Competitor ID. (Yeah, we're thinking big here...)

BE SURE TO RECORD YOUR DDISC ID, as you will need it to view or edit your handler record if you return to the site later. You will receive an email with this information after registration is complete, but be safe and write it down.

7. "Continue to Events" will take you to the "Overview / Select Competition" page, where you will click on the competition you wish to enter (e.g. SW Qualifier or DiscDogathon).

8. Clicking on the Competition name will take you to the "Event Selection" page, where you will see which (if any) events you have already registered for.

9. Click the team name under "Select a Team", then click on each event you wish to enter.

10. Click the checkbox to select each class, and enter the second handler if pairs or teams have been selected.

11. Return to step 9 for next Dog

When complete, click DONE or Overview, and return to step 8 for next Competition.

You may move between windows by clicking the correct button.

When you have completed your entries, go to the "Overview / Select Competition" page and click the Plus Sign icon to the right of each Competition that you have entered to Confirm your entry.

Click DONE to complete the registration and entry. You will receive an email verifying your entry, and listing your DDISC ID but, BE SURE TO RECORD YOUR NUMBER before you leave.
